I'm Jolyene and I'm just someone who... discovered quite unexpectedly... that I can actually draw back in 2023.

 

Even before finding this creative spark, I’ve always been fascinated by buildings, especially old(er) buildings with interesting architecture, with a bit of history and a dash of character. That interest has since grown into a passion for Urban Sketching.

Beyond buildings, I’m also exploring a more abstract side of myself through paper embroidery.  Using watercolours, threads, and beads to create tactile, layered pieces that express my love for colours. In this case, random colours!

Originally from Malaysia, I spent 10 years in Singapore and now live in Southampton, UK, where I continue to sketch, stitch, and connect with others who are exploring this creative world.
